2011 Min-e-Con
Platte Canyon is pleased to announce a small conference dedicated to ToolBook, e-Learning development, instructional design, programming techniques, and more. We anticipate a small group (5 - 15) of attendees that want to improve their skills and share their expertise. While possible session topics are listed below, we will solicit from attendees what they are looking for and put those sessions at the top of the list. Main sessions will in the "boardroom" with the option to break out a smaller group into the conference suite. In addition, Jeff Rhodes will conduct two 3-hour preconference workshops. Here are the details:

Preconference Session 1: 11 AM - 2 PM
This session will be conducted by Jeff Rhodes. Bring your laptop and we'll work on tackling your e-Learning issues. These can be design issues, ToolBook, Flash, Flex, HTML/JavaScript (including jQuery), Silverlight, or .NET.

Preconference Session 2: 2:30 - 5:30 PM
This session will be conducted by Jeff Rhodes. Bring your laptop and we'll work on tackling your e-Learning issues. These can be design issues, ToolBook, Flash, Flex, HTML/JavaScript (including jQuery), Silverlight, or .NET. Attendees are welcome to attend one or both sessions as topics will not be duplicated.

Conference Sessions: 8 AM - 5 PM
We will take requests for specific session topics from attendees and will finalize it shortly before the conference. Depending on interest, we might break into two groups. For example, if the main group wants to spend an hour on JavaScript, a smaller group may adjourn to the Conference Suite for a workgroup on instructional design. If you would suggest a topic or would be willing to conduct a session for a $50 discount, please email us at info@plattecanyon.com. We will tackle the sessions we couldn't get to on Wednesday. Refreshed and invigorated with new knowledge, attendees will head back to work (perhaps after some more site-seeing in Santa Fe:)).
