TBCON is a great experience. Start saving now for next year. You would easily recover your costs for the conference in what you learn and can apply immediately when you get back to your job.

I would highly recommend attending TBCON. My work colleagues and I have attended the past two TBCONs and feel that each year what we have learned at TBCON has accelerated our use and knowledge of ToolBook by at least 6 months. There are many sessions at TBCON that are good for beginners; but I would especially recommend the preconference workshops as they will enable you to get hands-on experience using ToolBook. Best of all, you will meet lots of people who will become valuable resources for you as you become more familiar with ToolBook.
