TBCON 2003 Resources

We once again had an awesome time at TBCON 2003. About 125 old and new friends gathered in Colorado Springs from July 26 - 30 to talk ToolBook and VBTrain.Net, create hack-ack applications, hone their karaoke performance, and more. Here are a few hightlights:

Congratulations to Mauro Rech of Buckman Laboratories for winning the award for the Most Creative Use of ToolBook. Mega kudos also go to Denise Passmore of Nielsen Media Research for the Best ToolBook Online Training. They both cleaned up with Canon PowerShot A100 Digital Cameras.

Hack-Ack

Bill Hurley took the gold this year by audience vote, finally breaking Mauro Rech's hold on the prize. Newcomer Virginia Westwood stormed to a strong second. Mauro and his cohorts Catherine Walker and Michele Nix had an awesome entry as well. Nice job everyone!

  • This is just a short "Thank You" to everyone that was at TBCON this year. This was my first experience, and it was GREAT! I learned a lot and got a lot of great ideas. I dealt with some concepts that have been really hard for me to grasp, but was explained them in a manner that I could understand. Not to mention all the info on VBTrain and the .Net stuff. On that note, this is to anyone that has never been to TBCON, "GO"! Not only is it a good time, but a excellent learning forum. Do what ever it takes to make it to the conference next year, beg the boss, scrounge up the change for travel and expenses, whatever it takes, it will be worth it.  (2003)

  • Personally, TBCON accelerates my knowledge and ability to efficiently use ToolBook by at least six months each year I have attended. I find it a very easy investment to cost-justify. And, on top of that, it is a lot of FUN!  (2003)
